Synopsis

Kim Mi So works as a secretary for Yeomyeong Group’s vice-president. She do a great job, is a hard-worker. However, she decided to resign after working so hard during all these years, because she wants to set up her life, living for herself and find her dream.

Lee Young Joon is the vice-president of Yeomyeong Group. He is smart, handsome, narcissist and arrogant. After his secretary announcement, he was shocked and wanted to find the reason behind her decision.

Will he manage to make her stay?

Cringy drama can be good too!!

The drama was soooooo good, it was funny, romantic.

OMG I really love Park Min Young, and when I saw she was staring in this drama with Park Seo Joon , I was so excited. They have really a great chemistry, both on the acting aspect and on the visual aspect.

Everything is perfect, the female lead really had a perfect romance.

It also has a realistic side, through the drama, you can see that hard work pays. Mi Soo was not the perfect secretary at the beginning of her carrier, but she ended up being the PERFECT secretary for a leader.

Moreover, Mi Soo’s clothes are sooo pretty and cute. I heard that it even start being a trend in Korea.

Synopsis

However, contrary to other player who write and post personal information about themselves, Wei Wei don’t even post her real name and continue to keep her identity secret.

Xiao Nai is a handsome top student, he is in his last year of university. He is like the prince of the campus. Not only a good student, he is also a gaming expert who has basketball skills and swimming talent.

He fell in love with Bei Wei Wei at the first sight when he saw her playing at a cybercafé. Contrary to other, Xiao Nai then decided to use his skills to capture Wei Wei’s heart in real life and online.

Comments

I began to watch this drama because of the lead actor, I start to like him since « Tornado Girl » where he played the role of Ruo Bai. One of my favorite characters in this serie.

I didn’t expect that the drama would be sooooooo good, the story was simple but attractive. It was sweet, cute and down to earth. There was no dramatic plat or betraying or stereotype etc. It was just normal. Plus, it doesn’t have a third person who would break Wei Wei and Xiao Nai’s relationship. From the beginning to the end, Xiao Nai only sees Wei Wei and vice versa.

He decided to approach Wei Wei on the online platform first, then when they start to be close, they decided to meet in real life near the bridge of the campus.

Indeed his father presented him a good place where he can build his company.

Not only in academic side, Xiao Nai also is a good at sport especially in basketball and swimming. Like Wei Wei he likes to run in the morning before going to class.

He found his company with the help of his 3 roommates : Hao Mei, Yu Ban Shan, Qiu Yong Hou.

Everything seems to be alright but business is not a fairy tale, so the company encounters some hardship because of the competitiveness of the market however the friends successfully overcome it.

He is a kind, gentle, considerate, and attentive boyfriend: on their first date, they decided to go to the basketball match. He carried her on his bike, since she was wearing a dress she was not comfortable on the seat. He noticed it so buy some stuff to get a bag so she can put the bag on her thigh.

Nana gave him Wei Wei’s ID yet it turns out that it actually was Er Xi’s ID. They played together online and thought that she shared the same feeling as him. When the news of her relationship with Xiao Nai was out, he felt like he was betrayed. He drank too much and said that he misjudged her and regretted for not seing how fickle she really is.

Nana is the one who filmed the video and post it on the campus forum.

This is why she decided to have surgery and got a new face to start a new life. When she begins university, she meets Do Kyung Suk from their middle school days. She start to freak out and ask him to not talk about her past with anyone. Yet, she didn’t know that he sees people for what they truly are inside. He is attracted to Mi Rae since a long time ago and decided to protect her.

Comments:

First of all, this drama depicts a beautiful love story which takes place in a society where people tend to judge your outside than your inside. It shows that « beauty standards » is really important for women. Through the serie, you can clearly see that being beautiful help South Korean women to be accepted in this cruel world. If you are ugly or don’t follow the ideal beauty, you will be bullied.

From that point, you will understand that Mi Rae underwent the pain to actually survive and not to be beautiful.

This is a good drama for summer. I remembered watching it before my first semester in university. The love story is good, sweet and warm. Kyung Suk is the perfect considerate boyfriend who would protect her GF from mean people. His heart only sees her and waited for her until she wants to be with him.

However, Eun Woo’s acting is kind of weak which was not fine at first but he slowly improves so I was fine with it.

Because she was bullied in the past, she became insecure. Thanks to Kyung Suk she is now more opened to other and to him.

Guys, did you watch the new season of Produce X101? Actually, I wasn’t going to watch it. Like I watched the previous seasons but when I saw news about this new season I was like “Seriously?! Is it gonna be like Greys Anatomy and got 15 seasons or what????!!!”

But then, today I just watch a cut from the show. And I was shocked when I saw one of the contestant.

It was Park Sun Ho, the actor who played in A poem a day, Hospital Ship. Like whaaaaaat??? Why?? So I continue to watch until his part and wow there are some handsome face ㅋㅋㅋㅋ (๑╹ω╹๑ )

Anyway, his part was so emotional I nearly cried when I watched it. Sometimes fate is a bitch, when you thought you will succeed you end up to screw up. But that’s life what can we do? Nothing. Just keep believing in fate.

I recently found a new pearl: this music.It has been a long time since I heard Chi Pu sing, and it is not disappointing at all. It was rather deep, emotional and pretty sad.

This MV actually traces the story of Tam Cam with the point of view of Cam. This tale can be considered as the Vietnamese Cinderella. This fairy tale is pretty famous in Vietnam, I would say that every Vietnamese know this story.

Here is the story:Tam ( means“broken rice”), a beautiful young lady lives a miserable life tormented by her stepmother and half-sister Cam, both considered Tam as their slave. In fact, Tam spend her day to do chores, feed pigs and go to fish. When night falls, she has to husk rices.

Only whe she was so hopeless and started to cry, a god came to help her. Thanks to him, her life became easier and she finally meet the prince at a festival. Both fall in love at the first sight, and decided to get married.

At this moment, Tam really thought that she can forget all the past because now she is happy. However, the jealousy stepmother didn’t let it go, so she decided to kill Tam and replaced her by Cam. She did not only kill her one time but four times. And Tam succeed in resurrecting four times. She finally found her husband again and start to really have her own happiness.

Parents used to tell this folktale since it is simple for children to understand, and we can learn some things through the story such as determination or happiness.

Deok Mi is a fan of Cha Shi An, she even has a blog dedicated for him.Ryan Gold is an American Korean who once was a famous painter, yet one day he announced his retirement and no one knows the reason behind it. Back to Korea, he is now the new director of Chaeum Gallery and works with Deok Mi.

What do I think?

Actually, I didn’t think it would be my taste because I found the beginning quite boring but when I reach the third episodes, I loved it so much!!!It is a relatable drama, like Deok Mi we can be fan of Kpopstar, we liked our idol’s posts to support them, we tend to give them some gifts to encourage them… Anyway, everybody can recognise themselves through Deok Mi.Plus, it has some sweet and smooth moment between the two main characters. Like her previous drama, Park Min Young portrayed a cute young lady with a funny side.

It’s definitely a drama that I would recommend to you if you want some sweet and good drama for this spring.
